Mini Radio is a Chrome extension that allows you to listen to Québec radio stations. This policy explains how we handle your data.

2. Data Collection

Personal Data

We do not collect any personal data.

No collection of identifiers (email, name, etc.)
No tracking cookies
No sharing with third parties

Anonymous Statistics (Proprietary)

We collect anonymous usage statistics through our own infrastructure (Cloudflare D1):

Number of clicks per station (to establish popularity rankings)
Listening date (day only, no time)
Worker performance metrics (CPU, requests)

This data is aggregated and cannot identify you.

3. Data Usage

Anonymous statistics are used to:

Improve extension performance
Understand most popular stations
Optimize technical infrastructure

4. Meta Pixel (Marketing Analytics)

We use the Meta Pixel within the extension's service worker exclusively to measure the effectiveness of our awareness campaigns (e.g., confirming successful extension installation).

Purpose: This helps us measure the conversion of our marketing efforts. Unlike listening statistics, no playback events (Play/Pause) are transmitted to Meta.

Privacy: This tracking is strictly anonymous. No personal identifiers, IP addresses, or browsing history are stored or associated with these events.

Control: No data is sold to third parties or used for personalized advertising.

5. Data Storage

Anonymous playback statistics are stored in a Cloudflare D1 database (Canada/US). No data is sold or shared with third parties.

6. Your Rights

Since we don't collect any personal data, there is no data to delete or access.

7. Security

We apply rigorous security standards. All communications between the extension and the broadcasting servers are carried out via encrypted connections (HTTPS). Although the source code is proprietary, the extension is regularly submitted to the technical review and validation processes of the official Chrome Web Store to ensure the absence of malicious software.

8. Third-Party Streams

Mini Radio redirects users to external audio streams belonging to radio stations. These stations may have their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for the data collected by these third-party sites when you interact with their content.
